Michigan Association of Fairs & Exhibitions (MAFE) membership is a must for people within the fair industry.
We offer educational and networking opportunities that only our association can offer.

Listed below are details of some of our MAFE membership services.
Through a MAFE membership one is entitled to The Grandstand, a periodic newsletter published by MAFE designed to give our members current information and ideas relative to the fair industry. A complimentary annual Fair Date List and Directory is also published for members only. This document includes listings of all fair and festival members with contact names, addresses, phone numbers and pertinent facts such as attendance figures. This information is extremely valuable for networking and establishing business contacts. The Date List and Directories are distributed to all Fairs, Festivals, Organizations and Associate members who are current members.

Membership also entitles one to attend the MAFE Convention. The convention is held annually in January at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids. Information regarding the Convention is mailed out in the Fall. The convention gives our members the opportunity to attend workshops, table topics, other informative activities, and allow members to network with all the fair, festival and associate members.

It has always been essential for associations to have access to the information flowing through the offices of state government. MAFE also employs full-time legislative consultants to follow important bills and laws pertaining to the fair industry as to keep our members informed on the latest legislative issues.

This briefly describes the many benefits of being a Michigan Association of Fairs and Exhibitions member.
